Remember the weather we had at Spring Lake on Sunday? It wasn’t sticking around for Tuesday. Heavy rains and storms were in the area again, but that didn’t stop ten teams from taking to the lake and showing what they had.
First place was claimed by Sharrow and Bounds with four fish weighing in at 8.82 pounds. They tried for big bass, too, but fell shy by seven tenths at 3.14.
Second place and big bass went to the team of Huette and Mikel with two fish going a respectable 6.27 pounds, anchored by their big bass of 3.84 pounds.
I’d write something quippy about three teams blanking, but there’s nothing funny about that because I was on one of those teams. So Larry, you get out easy this time.
Notables: Several teams backed out of the event due to fortitudinal issues, and no one spoke up about losing “the big one”.
