The BNBC fished a new venue this evening under post-front conditions (just how we like it!) at Clinton Lake. Eight teams tested their mettle; three were lucky enough to have fish.
It was a night for substitutions. Both the first and second place teams did not fish with their regular partners. Larry Russell picked up Mike Campbell and Rod Wallace brought Adam Stark for the event.
The team of Russell and Campbell posted a huge victory over the competition (or lack thereof) with a two fish sack weighing 9.15 pounds, anchored by this year’s big bass of 6.48 pounds.
Only six pounds behind was Rod “Bridesmaid” Wallace and Adam Stark with one fish at 3.03 pounds, but good enough for second place. You’ll have your day soon, Rod!
Just out of the money and with the event’s last fish was Hurt and Bierbaum.
